I was asked to turn a series of articles into "Special Reports" (white papers) that could be offered as digital marketing material to potential patients. The goal was to make the material accessible and easily scannable while enticing clients to call for consultation appointments.
Magazine Layout & Design
A client requested a redesign of their in-house magazine for regional meetings. The only requirements were that it fit with their branding (this included the use of company specific colors and fonts).
Ad Layout & Design
I was asked to create a full-page ad layout for an industry-specific magazine. (For privacy reasons, images and text have been replaced with generic place-holders.)
eBook Layout & Design
I created these guides for my One Girl Collecting website, to help collectors of the Harry Potter books better understand their book's worth.
Writing for Therapists Series Cover Design
Kindle eBook cover design for a duo of books aimed at writing instruction for therapists.
We wanted to match the theme of the client's freelance writing website, but more importantly wanted the books to be identified as a part of a series when people viewed them on Amazon.
We maintained the blurred bokeh background, frame, and fonts, while slightly varying the layout of the title and subtitle.
Series Book Cover Design
This client wanted a their trio of books to be easily recognized as a series. We created a chalkboard theme, incorporating similar elements within the covers. The Writer's Guide to Elance, offered as an eBook via Amazon was later updated to reflect the fact that Elance changed to Upwork.

Chapbook Layout & Design
This is my wife's poetry chapbook, based on her experience going through cancer diagnosis and treatment. I designed the cover and did the layout for the entire book.
Art Is For Everyone
I designed, illustrated, and did the layout for Art Is For Everyone: 28 Days of Crafting a Creative Practice, a book that I co-wrote with Tracy Hart.
Book Cover Design & Illustration: Summer's Light
I illustrated and designed the cover for this debut YA novel written by Carol Snyder. The cover design is a reductive relief print I created by printing one color, then carving material from the printing block before printing in a second, third, and fourth color. The interior illustrations are pen and ink drawings.
