I created a number of illustrations for Art Is For Everyone: 28 Days to a Creative Practice, the book I co-wrote with Tracy Hart. The above illustration is of a cave drawing in Lascaux, France.

Pen and ink drawing to illustrate the design principle of Scale.
I illustrated a number of pages for the debut YA book by Carol Snyder. All illustrations are drawn by hand with pen & ink. (More examples below and in the Design & Layout section).
Themed illustrations from The Sketchbook Project. Many of the illustrations were based on early 20th century scientific magazine ads and included dirigibles as well as obscure inventions intended to aid in travel (like the above bi-pedal unicycle).
Los Angeles Illustrations
Based on photographs taken while I lived in L.A., these illustrations capture partial views, as one looks up or from a distance. Because L.A. is not a walking town, these perspectives (now frozen in time) are usually seen in passing, from the seat of a car.
